Welcome to Family Recordings. We have several new albums to keep you warm by the fireside in our Autumn/Winter Collection 2004.

Just released is the latest Trip mixed by Saint Etienne. It's a cracking mix and you may have heard the boys promoting it on 6Music with Phill Jupitus or BBC London with Sean Rowley.

The next Trip has been mixed by Gary Lightbody, lead singer with Snow Patrol. It's an unbelievable result for us to get Gary to do this given his mad schedule and he's delivered a fantastic album. Check Future Releases for the tracklist. It's out 1st November.

In between these two we have Essential Afrobeat on triple CD. It has been selected and mixed by Dele Sosimi who was a one time musical director for 'Fela Kuti & Egypt 80' and hence knows his stuff when it comes to Afrobeat. It's a wide ranging selection of classic Afro alongside the influential tracks that inspired it (James Brown & The Meters) and those that have taken inspiration from it by way of samples & reworks (Fatboy Slim/ DJ Food etc).

We hope you like the albums were producing and always welcome feedback and comments - hellothere@familyrecordings.com
